It Began With Stillness
Dr. Shital Visave’s journey did not start in the textile market, but in the quiet, spiritual atmosphere of meditation. Searching for peace as a homemaker through Sahajyoga, she discovered a profound sense of inner balance. This soon became a passion to guide, solace, and awaken others on the spiritual path.
For years, the spiritual mission of the Sahajyoga meditation served as her guide. However, as she spent more time with the women in her community, she realized a vital truth: inner peace alone could not shelter, feed, or protect them from daily struggles for dignity and agency.
A Different Kind of Healing
Dr. Visave realized that spiritual healing gave women calm, but it couldn’t create economic independence. Weeping, if not understood, turns into tears: much the same as it is a conscious ability to be able to care for oneself.
The bridge between spiritual and economic empowerment was missing. The women needed skills, meditation, and a platform to turn their traditional artistry into a sustainable livelihood.
